Academics

Pre Primary

The early childhood curriculum is designed to meet the needs, interests and abilities of children to foster their holistic development. The teachers approach the students with a thematic curriculum, whereby many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme. They use tools like multiple intelligences and experiential learning to enable kids to understand a concept.

Primary

The primary curriculum followed in KCIS is well aligned with the recommendations of National Education Policy. It incorporates all elements of academic and extra-curricular interests to create a passion for learning. It caters to the challenging requirements of contemporary and future educational needs.

Secondary

As the learner has gained mastery over basic concepts underlying each subject area in the primary years, the learner is now ready to meet the rigour of the academic program and to connect learning with real-world situations

Extra Curricular Activities

Extra-curricular activities in preschool can play an important role in a child’s development. These activities can provide children with opportunities to explore new interests, develop new skills, and build self-confidence. They can also help children develop social skills, such as teamwork and communication, and learn how to follow rules and routines.

At Kidzonia we believe that participating in extracurricular activities can also help children develop their creativity and imagination. They can provide children with opportunities to express themselves through art, music, and movement, and to explore the world around them through science and nature activities.

Additionally, these activities can also help children develop their physical skills and learn about healthy living. Games and sports can help children to develop their gross motor skills, while activities such as gardening can help children to learn about the importance of taking care of the environment.

Extra-curricular activities in preschool can be beneficial for children in a number of ways. They can help with:
